Tonight turned out to be a strange and wonderful night. First of all, a friend I hadn't seen for about 5 yrs made his way out for a visit. That was awesome. After that, I set out this evening to do nothing more than get my credit card back from the Mercy Lounge, where I left it Monday night at the last 8 off 8th, and as it turns out, I went to 3 clubs, and discovered 2 good bands. Well, I'm rather annoyed. Seven good Nashville bands who hoped to compete for a chance to perform at this year's Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival had that opportunity stolen from them by biased fans who voted for their favorite, before any of the 8 competing bands even took the stage. Read more »

Steve Jobs....kiss my ass. I'll never install Itunes. Especially now that I have traded my ipod for an RCA Opal, which I am THRILLED to say has a RADIO in it! Never again will I be stranded without 91.1 WRVU! The ipod is quite useless in this most elementary regard, as is the iphone. All that data transfer technology and yet, a simple am/fm reciever was somehow overlooked. Mac is quack.
